Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Optical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and testing optical systems and components for various applications, including imaging, sensing, communication, and laser technologies. This role involves working with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative solutions and improve existing optical technologies.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and integrate high-stability laser systems for optical sensing applications.
- Develop and optimize optical paths, polarization systems, and waveplates.
- Work with fiber optics and adaptive optics to enhance optical performance.
- Optimize laser phase coherence and optical alignment stability.
- Develop solutions for optical noise reduction and stability control.
Job Requirements
- Master’s/Bachelor’s in Optical Engineering, Photonics, or Physics.
- Experience in laser design, optical alignment, and interferometry.
- Hands-on experience with optical mounts, beam splitters, and adaptive optics.
- Proficiency in Zemax, COMSOL, or MATLAB for optical simulations.
