Navigating in environments where GPS is unavailable or intentionally denied is a critical challenge for both defence and commercial platforms. Phoqtek is addressing this challenge by designing and building high-performance inertial sensors that enable precise navigation without relying on external signals.
These sensors can be tailored for specialized industrial applications. Our solutions include advanced gyroscopes, accelerometers, and inertial measurement units (IMUs) that ensure reliable performance in GPS-denied environments.
Fiber-Optic Gyroscope (FOG)
High-precision inertial navigation is essential for platforms operating in GPS-denied and high-dynamics environments such as naval, aerospace, and strategic systems. Conventional mechanical gyroscopes suffer from wear, drift, and long-term reliability limitations under harsh conditions. Fiber-optic gyroscopes provide a solid-state, interference-based solution with superior stability and accuracy.
Our focus is on design and development of a high-performance Fiber-Optic Gyroscope (FOG) based on the Sagnac effect, using precision fiber coils, low-noise photonics, and robust signal processing. The FOG is targeted toward navigation-grade performance, scalability, and indigenous deployment for industrial and critical infrastructure applications.
KARN AI - Intelligence That Operates Where Cloud Cannot
KARN AI is PhoQtek Labs’ in-house autonomous intelligence platform engineered for edge-first, air-gapped, and real-time systems. It enables machines to perceive, reason, and act independently even in GPS-denied, bandwidth-limited, and mission-critical environments.
Phoqtek is now officially a part of the NVIDIA Inception Program — a prestigious initiative that supports groundbreaking startups in AI, machine learning, and data science.
